MarshWalk, Huntington, and the weeknight rhythm

The dining strip is real and it is seasonal. If you buy two streets off it, you inherit parking, golf-cart traffic, and a Friday-night volume that some relocators love and some regret. We walk the block at the hour you would actually be home.

Huntington Beach State Park is the quiet counterweight. Jetty, marsh boardwalks, and a strand that is not a high-rise backdrop. Pair Murrells with Pawleys Island if you are choosing the south end, or Surfside Beach if you want a family ocean town a bit closer to Myrtle Beach.
